About Us: Venza Care Rehab is a leading rehabilitation facility committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Activities Director to join our team. This role is pivotal in planning and facilitating engaging activities for our residents to enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
• Plan and organize a variety of activities and events, including recreational, educational, and social programs.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure activities are appropriate and beneficial for residents.
• Encourage resident participation and create a positive and inclusive atmosphere during activities.
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and assess the effectiveness of programs.
• Manage the activities budget and resources efficiently.
• Supervise and train activities staff, ensuring they provide high-quality services to residents.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in senior living activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, or related field preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in planning and facilitating activities in a senior living or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for working with older adults.
• Understanding of the physical and emotional needs of seniors.
