Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school located in Kenosha, WI, to provide support during the current school year. This contract role offers an opportunity to work with a diverse student population, addressing speech and language needs within an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed records of student performance and therapy sessions in compliance with school policies
  • Provide consultation and training to staff and families regarding speech and language development

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working as an SLP in school settings supporting K-12 students
  • Knowledge of speech, language, and communication development and disorders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with educators and families
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and provide consistent therapy services
