The Institute of Reading Development is now hiring summer teachers to lead our summer reading enrichment programs, designed to foster a love of reading while building critical reading skills in students of all ages.
Our approach combines evidence-based practices with engaging activities that make reading fun and meaningful for students. This framework simplifies your role as a teacher, so you can focus on what matters mosthelping students thrive.
This is a great opportunity to do challenging and meaningful work in a supportive environment. Teaching experience is valuable but not necessary, and we do not require teaching certification. We provide comprehensive lesson plans and training so that you will be fully prepared before your first class. You'll receive ongoing support from a dedicated supervisor.
