Overview The work of a Warehouse Supervisor includes supervising the work of a Warehouse Agent and related duties such as accepting and delivering cargo and mail shipments, loading and unloading to and from carts, building and breaking down aircraft ULDs, transporting cargo to and from aircraft, filling ULD forms, performing cargo and ULD inventories, security screening freight and mail in accordance to TSA Regulations, performing warehouse housekeeping duties, and handling equipment and vehicle cleaning. Responsibilities Accept and deliver cargo and mail shipments Load and unload mail and cargo to and from carts Build and breakdown aircraft ULDs Transport cargo to and from aircraft Fill ULD forms Perform cargo and ULD inventories Security screen freight and mail in accordance with TSA Regulations Perform warehouse housekeeping duties Operate and clean handling equipment and vehicles Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to judge distances Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts Ability to understand and follow safety instructions Must read and speak English Must be able to handle stress in a fast-paced environment and ensure deadlines are met Ability to concentrate on detail Ability to lift 50-70 lbs Adhere to safety practices and programs Ability to challenge unauthorized individuals in secured areas Ability to multitask Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required Previous warehouse experience preferred Valid US driver's license Successful completion of required airport badging process, USPS background check and pre-employment drug screen is required Schedule of Hours Alliance Ground International operates twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week in three operational shifts. AGI requires its employees to be able to work flexible schedules which may be adjusted to meet operational demands such as flight delays, cancellations, adhocs, etc. Applicants must be able to work on weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and holidays.
