Your Responsibilities
Unload and process incoming furniture orders, with the physical ability to move large items.
Be able to lift up to 75 pounds on your own and manage products weighing over 150 pounds with assistance.
Utilize scanning technology to record vital information, including condition, quantity, and storage locations.
Monitor order management systems to ensure proper receipt of orders and accurately document any discrepancies.
Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate records.
Pick items from inventory and prepare them for delivery organization by truck and stop number.
Provide feedback on user tools and suggest enhancements based on daily experiences.
Actively engage and collaborate with team members and managers.
Identify efficient methods for task completion and ask clarifying questions as necessary.
Read and understand English for safety compliance and effective communication.
Be open to cross-training in other departments and taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
What You Need to Succeed
Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs. independently and moving heavier items with a team.
Able to work on the warehouse floor for 8 or more hours each day.
Demonstrated strong work ethic.
Familiarity with scanning technology is a plus.
Previous experience in distribution or logistics is advantageous.
Proficiency in High Jump software is a plus.
Ability to read and comprehend English to ensure personal and workplace safety.
