We are seeking a Senior Forensic Accountant to join our Insurance Services and Economic Damages & Valuations team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to apply their accounting knowledge across a variety of different projects. You will be responsible for performing various forensic accounting procedures, including constructing sophisticated analyses, performing calculations, and developing work product for insurance and litigation engagements.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate detailed financial statements and financial data to create a comprehensive analysis.
• Create Excel schedules using financial information provided which will be used in the measurement of business interruption losses, inventory claims, extra expense analyses, and various litigation matters. 
• Analyze revenue and expenses to create projection models.
• Assist in inputting financial data and organize large amounts of financial data.
• Draft requests for documentation to be used in our analysis (in the form of discovery requests and document request lists).
• Communicating results of analysis to supervisors and/or clients.
• Assist in the preparation of written reports and written narratives to be sent to clients.
• Attend client meetings (telephone, online, or in-person) and communicate findings in meetings to clients and team members. In-person meetings can require travel.
• Assist with other assignments ranging from unusual insurance claim-related matters to various litigation projects.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university
• CPA candidate
• 3 to 5 years of accounting, auditing, and/or forensic accounting experience
• Strong computer skills required: Microsoft office suite, particularly basic and advanced Excel functions. Working knowledge of Power Pivot is a plus.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding interpersonal communication, organizational, and writing skills

Physical and Mental Job Qualifications

• Ability to travel as needed, depending on project assignments.
• Ability to maneuver in and around an accident site. 

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 
• Ability to drive to site locations. 
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required by the work site. 
• Must be able to commute and work in person on a hybrid schedule to our Phoenix, AZ, office.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 a year. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
