Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Quality Performance and Non-Conformance Management

  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to address top quality issues.
  • Own and manage internal and supplier-driven Non-Conformances (NC) and Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA) records, ensuring timely processing and closure using Trackwise.
  • Support manufacturing-related complaint investigations and product field actions.
  • Investigate and disposition non-conforming products within Material Review Board (MRB), issuing NCs as required.

Supplier Quality Activities

  • Communicate and collaborate with suppliers to resolve non-conformances, escalating Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) as needed.
  • Manage and execute Supplier Initiated Change Requests (SICRs), engaging cross-functional teams for assessment and approval.
  • Support manufacturing transfers between plants/facilities, executing relevant quality activities.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for supplier part certification in collaboration with stakeholders.

Process Improvements and Validation

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of manufacturing and distribution processes for existing products.
  • Perform critical assessments and qualifications for internal and supplier-proposed changes, including Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities.
  • Support the development and review of process and equipment validation/qualification and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) of internal processes.
  • Maintain and analyze KPIs for process and product quality, identifying trends and driving appropriate actions.
  • Participate in or lead the creation and review of new or modified procedures.

Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technical, or related field.
  • Experience : Proven experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in manufacturing or a similar environment.
  • Skills : Strong multitasking abilities to manage varying daily tasks, Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers, and Robust problem-solving skills to address quality issues and drive resolutions.
