How you'll grow... As a Project Manager on the Product Operations team, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of small to medium-sized projects, working closely with our software engineering teams. You will collaborate with project teams to plan and prioritize work, align goals with business needs and ensure smooth execution of the development lifecycle. You will be the key point of contact between stakeholders, ensuring timelines are met, goals are achieved, and the quality of deliverables meets expectations. Additionally, you will support engineering teams through process change, helping them define, adapt, and improve workflows to enhance productivity and collaboration.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, art, QA and compliance to define project goals, functional requirements, schedules and deliverables.
•Work closely with teams to plan, prioritize, and manage the backlog of tasks, ensuring that the highest priority work is completed first.
•Gather and document project requirements, translating them into clear, actionable stories for engineering teams.
•Ensure effective communication and coordination among internal and external stakeholders.
•Create and maintain project plans, monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
•Regularly communicate project updates to relevant stakeholders, and provide high-level status reports and updates to executive leadership.
•Participate in and lead daily stand-ups, planning, retrospectives, or other meetings as needed.
•Work closely with engineering leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
•Lead efforts to implement process changes, ensuring minimal disruption to the team's productivity.
•Drive change management initiatives, guiding teams through transitions with a focus on maintaining engagement and motivation.
•Document and standardize processes and workflows to ensure consistency and scalability.
Qualifications: •4+ years of project management experience in software development or IT environments.
•Strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycle.
•Demonstrated experience in collaborating with teams on planning and prioritizing work.
•Experience managing project roadmaps, timelines and expectations across multiple teams.
•Experience supporting engineering teams through process changes and improvements.
•Meticulous attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
•Excellent communicator with a demonstrated ability to bridge communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into accessible terms.
•Experience with Jira project management tools.
Nice to have but not required: •Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
•PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications
•Familiarity with the casino gaming industry
•Previous experience as a business analyst
•Previous experience as a Jira administrator
