Job Description

The Pipeline Operator requires driving to the terminal and the field checking field lacts to ensure all equipment is maintained and working. This involves tightening flanges unions,etc if leaks appear in the equipment . The job also requires heavy lifting. The roads in the field are very rough and require close attention to your driving habits. The operators work schedule require a 12-hour shift and if asked over time to keep the field and terminal up and running. Close attention to detail is a must.

•Knowledge of company practices and construction standards.

•Able to interpret pipeline construction drawings and alignment sheets

•Ensure projects and schedules are met by continuously working with Operations, Engineering, Construction, Facility Planning, and Gas Control.

•Assist with developing and maintaining, scopes, schedules and cost for projects

•Self-motivated and works independently.

•Perform other job-related duties as training allows and assigned by Supervisor.

•High School diploma or equivalent.

•Experience in the natural gas and liquid pipeline industry, with experience in pipeline design, regulatory, and integrity.

•0-3 years' experience working with inspections, installation, and repairs of pipelines

•2 years of operations of pipelines and/or plants is preferred.

•Possess good computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Products.
