Responsible for all genetic counseling services which include assessment of patients at risk for hereditary cancer predisposition and other genetic conditions, pedigree analysis, assessment for genetic and genomic testing, counseling on outcomes of testing, and hereditary cancer/genetic and genomic education for staff and the general public across the life span continuum.
Qualifications:In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling from an ABGC certified program
One to three years of related experience preferred
Board certified or board eligible in genetic counseling by the American Board of Genetic Counseling. Required to be board certified within one year of hire
Sedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionally
We are looking for a flexible employee who has the availability to work Monday - Friday to help clear backlog and cover vacations. This role is remote for an employee who lives in (CO, UT, KS, or NM). We need someone who is experience with cancer patients.

Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life Colorado. With four trauma rooms including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, our staff can provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured patients.
