Are you ready to be the hero of the digital age? At Environmental Intellect (Ei), we’re on the lookout for a Document Scanning Technician who’s ready to save the day by transforming stacks of paper into perfectly organized digital files. Want to know more about us? Take a peek at our website, and get a taste of life at Ei!

ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Document Scanning Technician, you’ll be the go-to person for taking physical documents and turning them into digital gold. From prepping files to operating scanners like a pro, your work will keep our document management ship sailing smoothly. If you love details, technology, and getting things done right the first time, this is the perfect role for you.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Document Scanning: You’ll be sorting, prepping, and scanning documents like a champion, making sure staples, paper clips, and all those pesky fasteners are out of the way for flawless scanning.
  • File Management: After scanning, you’ll organize and store digital files in their rightful electronic homes, all while keeping confidential documents safe and secure.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Got a knack for tech? You’ll be in charge of running and maintaining our scanning equipment, tweaking scanner settings like a pro to get the best quality out of every document.
  • Quality Control: You’ll be the quality guru, reviewing scanned documents to make sure they’re clear, complete, and accurate. If something’s off, you’ll give it another go until it’s perfect.
  • Data Entry & Indexing: Once scanned, you’ll be entering metadata and making sure every document is properly categorized for easy access later.
  • Communication: You’ll work closely with your team and supervisor, making sure everyone’s on the same page and that scanning tasks are moving smoothly. If something’s going to slow down the process, you’ll be the first to speak up.

What makes you the perfect fit for this role:

  • Detail-Oriented: You’ve got laser focus when it comes to details. Nothing escapes your watchful eye.
  • Collaborative: You love being part of a team and believe in the power of working together.
  • Adaptability: You’re a pro at shifting gears and handling whatever comes your way.
  • Problem-Solving: You see challenges as puzzles just waiting to be solved.
  • Technical Acumen: You’re tech-savvy and quick to pick up new tools and software.
  • Clerical & Administrative Skills: You keep things running smoothly with your awesome organizational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Whether it’s emails, calls, or chats, you’re clear, professional, and easy to understand.
  • Organizational Skills: You have a natural talent for keeping things in order and managing multiple tasks.
  • Data Management: Handling and organizing data comes naturally to you.
  • Time Management: You know how to prioritize tasks and get stuff done on time, every time.

Here’s what you must have:

  • You can pass a drug test and background check with flying colors.
  • You’re able to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
  • Able to sit, stand, and operate scanning equipment for extended periods of time.
  • Reliable transportation to commute to the job site.
  • Have a short commute to the Norco, Louisiana area.

What we offer:
At Ei, we believe in taking care of our team members. Here’s what’s in it for you:

  • Comprehensive Health/Vision/Dental insurance coverage because your health matters.
  • A 401(k) plan with matching contributions to help secure your future.
  • Cell phone/internet stipend to keep you connected.
  • Time off and holidays to recharge and enjoy life outside of work.

So, are you ready to take the plunge into the world of digital document scanning and be part of a team that’s making waves in the industry? Apply now and let’s get started on this exciting journey together!

Salary: $30,000-$35,000 annually (Depends on Experience)
