Job Summary The Azure ETL Solutions Developer is responsible for designing and implementing innovative Azure Data Factory solutions across various projects of moderate to high complexity. This role necessitates strong expertise in Microsoft SSIS ETL solutions to facilitate the architecture, development, and migration of legacy systems to Azure Data Factory. Key Responsibilities: Architect and develop data transformation solutions using Azure Data Factory. Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL Server, SSIS, and T-SQL, ideally within Azure environments or SQL 2016+. Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers. Implement database security and ensure the integrity of SQL database objects (tables, views, indexes). Debug and optimize existing SSIS/ETL processes for effective data movement. Work collaboratively with Product Owners to gather and document business requirements for ETL and reporting design. Translate business needs into coherent technical specifications. Research issues and conduct proof of concept tests. Support quality acceptance testing and refine test plans as needed. Lead design review sessions with the scrum team to affirm requirements. Diagnose and rectify data quality issues to identify root causes. Qualifications: 5+ years of ETL development experience, with 1-3 years specifically using Azure Data Factory. Experience with Azure SQL Database, DevOps, GIT, and Continuous Integration (CI) methodologies. Understanding of the Agile framework and familiarity with working in a scrum team. Knowledge of healthcare data concepts and familiarity with QNXT is a plus. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
