Responsibilities: The Xacta Solutions Practitioner (Intern) will be familiar with Information Technology (IT) concepts, practices and procedures and work with counterparts to provide the following services: Leverage security best practices to manage, maintain, and enhance Xacta suite offerings Execute software deployment of Xacta suite in a variety of environments to validate deployment documentation Learn about the Xacta Suite and the RMF process Support requirement gathering conversations and understand the development lifecycle Attend demonstration planning and support template development for potential client engagement Review and support client engagement relationships Job Requirements Qualifications: The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship. Full time student with at least Two (2) years of college classes Have and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 Area of study is in Mathematics, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or other STEM disciplines. Knowledge and proficient in a scripting/coding language Strong written and verbal communications skills A professional attitude regarding attention to detail Additional skills that would helpful: Application and/or server administration Experience in cloud computing environments Knowledge and understanding of Dev/Sec/Ops and information security Application development Postgres MS Office - Excel (vlookup) MS Office - PowerPoint A+ Certification (or equivalent hardware knowledge) Security+ Certification (or equivalent knowledge) Python - and coding environments CSS (cascading style sheets) HTML JavaScript Basic linux administration The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.
