Position Summary

A Manager of our fulfillment center is responsible for overseeing both inbound and outbound operations, ensuring that all teams work together seamlessly to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety goals. This is a people-first, hands-on leadership role with a focus on problem solving, coaching, and continuous improvement.

When daily operations are running smoothly, the Manager's focus should be on process optimization, cost reduction, and developing team leaders to build long-term operational excellence. This is a full-time salaried position requiring daily, on-site presence in the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership for inbound and outbound teams, ensuring all performance, quality, and safety standards are met.
• Drive a positive and productive work environment through coaching, recognition, and development of supervisors and team members.
• Serve as a problem solver for operational challenges when supervisors need assistance, ensuring minimal disruptions to workflow.
• Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Lead initiatives for workflow optimization, space utilization, and labor efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other departments (supply chain, sales operations, customer service, etc.) to address issues and improvements.
• Ensure staffing levels are sufficient and appropriate.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution operations.
• Proven track record in managing both inbound and outbound logistics in a high-volume environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, sound decisions.
• Demonstrated success in process improvement and cost control initiatives.
• Exceptional people management and coaching skills.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), Excel, and other basic reporting tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.
