Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for an elementary school position in Tijeras, NM. This contract role spans the current school year with an expected end date of May 29, 2026. The position involves providing speech and language therapy services to a caseload primarily composed of Pre-K students, approximately 28 children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and interventions tailored to young learners.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support students' communication development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Participate actively in individualized education program (IEP) meetings as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Holds a current NM PED license, mandatory for interview and employment consideration.
  • Certified SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
  • Experience working within school settings, preferably with early childhood populations.
  • Capable of managing a caseload of approximately 28 Pre-K students.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Schedule and Location:

  • Position based in Tijeras, New Mexico.
  • Four-day workweek schedule.
  • Contract duration aligned with the current academic calendar through late May 2026.
