Job Description
Electrical engineering for solar PV design and plan review. Advise project managers and electricians. Review site survey data to inform recommendations for electrical design and interconnection approach. Prepare intake forms for drafters and review plan sets. Review site monitoring data when required for diagnosis. Systems include rooftop, carport, ground mount, and floating photovoltaic (FPV). Projects range from 100kW through 8MW dc. MV and BESS experience helpful but not required. Site travel is optional. Licensing is not required. Project management skills helpful but not required. Skills in data acquisition and power systems communication protocols are not required but considered bonuses.
