Job Summary:
We are seeking a Social Worker, MSW to join our team at Fulton State Hospital. As a Social Worker, you will provide counseling and support services to individuals, families, and groups in need. You will work closely with a team of Social Workers to assess client needs, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapy and support. This is the ideal opportunity for an Entry Level or 1-2 year Social Worker. You will be working with a wide variety of individuals and families who require long term treatment providing you the opportunity to learn your Client's behavior and help them on an individual level.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Provide counseling and therapy services to individuals, families, and groups
- Offer crisis intervention services as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients
- Provide education and resources to clients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of social work
Experience:
- Must have a Masters of Social Work
Ideal, but not required:
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults
- Proficient in crisis management and intervention techniques
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and billing procedures
- Strong skills in mentoring, supervision, and workforce development
- Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
