Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and internet-savvy Social Media Manager to manage and schedule content across our viral news Instagram pages. The ideal candidate is an "InternetWorm," someone who loves spending time online, staying updated on the latest trends, and creating content that resonates with our audience. You will be responsible for growing our online presence, sourcing the best-performing content, and repurposing it in an original way to engage our followers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, schedule, and manage content for our viral news Instagram pages focused on rap culture, pop culture, video games, and other trending topics.
• Curate, acquire, and repurpose high-performing content found online to keep our pages fresh and engaging.
• Execute social media campaigns that increase follower engagement and drive page growth.
• Monitor social media trends, memes, and internet culture to ensure our content is always relevant and cutting-edge.
• Analyze, target, download, and creatively repurpose trending content in an original way that aligns with our brand.
• Create and edit visual content using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or other design software to implement social media templates.
• Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and foster a strong community around our pages.
• Analyze engagement metrics to optimize content and increase visibility.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure content aligns with our brand and audience.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, and a deep understanding of internet culture and trends.
• Passionate about rap culture, pop culture, video games, and online news.
• Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
• Experience using Canva, Photoshop, or other design tools to create and implement social media templates.
• Strong sense of acquiring trending content online, analyzing it, and repurposing it effectively for our social media pages.
• Experience using scheduling tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Later.
• A true "InternetWorm" – someone who loves staying at home and exploring the depths of the internet.

• Learn advanced strategies for social media growth, content repurposing, and audience engagement from experts who have proven track records in the music and media industries.
• Develop a deeper understanding of how to leverage internet culture, trends, and content curation to drive viral success.
