About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP & MD for Latin America and US Hispanic TV Production. This executive will be responsible for the development, execution, and growth of the television production business, overseeing a team that develops, produces, and co-produces Spanish-language programming for the Latin American and US Hispanic markets. The role involves managing all aspects of series development, deal-making, sales, and technical operations, and serving as the primary liaison with corporate resources. The successful candidate will work closely with the distribution team to maximize the exploitation of content, provide regional market expertise, and maintain key relationships with talent, networks, and production partners. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in TV production, with at least 8 years in managing large teams across different offices. The role requires an individual with extensive scripted production experience, strong business acumen, and a proven track record of successful deal negotiations and enhancing production value. A deep understanding and appreciation of Latin American culture and television programming is essential, as is the ability to work across various departments and maintain strong relationships with industry players. The SVP & MD will have direct P&L responsibility and be expected to travel frequently within the region and internationally. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, and the ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and English.
