Job Description:
The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) is seeking a Senior React Web Developer to support full-stack application development for enterprise-level software. The ideal candidate will have advanced front-end and back-end development experience, particularly with React.js, Redux, Node.js, and Esri ArcGIS technologies. This hybrid role requires close collaboration with internal teams to build secure, accessible, and scalable web applications.
Specialty Areas:
• Full-Stack Web Development – Advanced knowledge in React.js, Redux, Node.js, Bootstrap, and MUI.
• Security & Compliance – Building highly secure applications with experience in JSON Web Tokens, WCAG 2.0/508 compliance.
• GIS & Mapping Integration – Expertise in Esri ArcGIS integration.
• API Development – RESTful service development and MuleSoft exposure.
• Agile Project Execution – Experience working in Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain scalable, responsive web applications using React.js and supporting technologies.
• Design RESTful interfaces and integrate with Esri ArcGIS and MuleSoft APIs.
• Conduct in-depth code reviews and enforce best practices.
• Ensure applications meet enterprise-grade security, performance, and accessibility requirements.
• Create and maintain system documentation and contribute to knowledge transfer efforts.
• Support Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Provide mentorship to junior developers and facilitate technical knowledge sharing.

Mandatory Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years of full-stack web development experience.
• Strong expertise in React, Redux, Node.js, and Esri ArcGIS.

Preferred Qualifications:
