CereCore is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to join our team in Nashville, TN

Summary:
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers in an Agile environment to drive quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated test frameworks for web, API, and backend services
  • Develop and maintain robust test suites using tools like Playwright, Selenium, or similar
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable deployments
  • Perform code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality
  • Investigate and report bugs with detailed reproduction steps and logs
  • Monitor test coverage and continuously improve automation effectiveness
  • Contribute to performance, security, and load testing initiatives as needed

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in software testing or development, with a focus on automation
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, C#)
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress)
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI)
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust)
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Exposure to BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Behave)
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus
