Practice Administrator – Highlander Dermatology
Highlander Dermatology is a fast-growing, two-location dermatology and aesthetic medicine practice serving the greater Milwaukee area. We provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology through a team of physician owners, advanced practice providers, aestheticians, and a high-performing support staff. We are seeking an experienced Practice Administrator to serve as the senior operational leader of the organization.
This role is responsible for the full operational, financial, and people leadership of the practice. The Administrator works directly with the physician owners to ensure smooth multi-site operations, optimize provider productivity, oversee revenue cycle performance, and build strong systems and culture across both locations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, data-driven, and experienced in scaling both medical and aesthetic service lines.
Key responsibilities include overseeing daily clinic operations, managing billing and financial performance, leading and developing staff, supporting provider workflows, and driving growth of the cosmetic and aesthetic division. This role also ensures regulatory compliance, manages vendor and payer relationships, and supports strategic initiatives as the practice continues to expand.
We are looking for a seasoned healthcare leader with 5+ years of practice management experience, preferably in dermatology, aesthetics, plastic surgery, or another specialty environment. Experience managing multi-provider, multi-location practices, working with physician owners, and operating both medical and cosmetic services is strongly preferred. Familiarity with dermatology EMRs such as ModMed EMA is a plus.
