Job Description
Remote Pharmacy Technician – Full-Time (Mon-Fri, 8 AM–8 PM CT Shifts)
We’re hiring a Remote Pharmacy Technician to provide professional phone support for prior authorization requests. This role involves handling high-volume inbound calls from members and providers, maintaining accurate documentation, and escalating clinical questions to pharmacists.
What You’ll Need:
At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in administrative support.
Preferred: National pharmacy technician certification or eligibility for state registration/licensure.
Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets).
Excellent verbal and written customer service skills.
Minimum 1 year customer service experience in a high-volume call center, preferably healthcare or social services.
High School diploma or GED required.
Schedule:
Assigned shifts vary 8 AM to 8 PM CT, Monday through Friday (8-hour shifts).
Training Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM CT.
Work From Home Requirements:
Dedicated quiet workspace with no interruptions.
Wired internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload (screenshot required).
Ability to focus for the entire shift.
