Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team in Cleveland, OH. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in payroll processing across multiple states and pay cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for approximately 500 employees, including both hourly and salaried staff

  • Manage multistate payroll across multiple pay cycles

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations

  • Maintain accurate payroll records and reports

  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies

  • Assist with audits and reporting as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in payroll processing for large employee groups

  • Familiarity with multistate payroll regulations and varied pay cycles

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in payroll software and Excel

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Pay Details: $23.00 to $29.00 per hour
