Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite)
Contract: 6-Month Contract
Compensation: $30–$36/hour (DOE)
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator for a 6-month onsite contract based in Seattle, WA. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing for a multi-state workforce. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and experienced with end-to-end payroll administration in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:Process biweekly and/or semi-monthly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees
Review and validate timecards, deductions, bonuses, and commissions for accuracy
Maintain employee payroll records, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations
Coordinate with HR and Finance teams on new hires, terminations, and payroll adjustments
Reconcile payroll data and prepare reports for accounting and management
Ensure proper taxation and compliance with federal, state, and local laws
Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and payroll-related issues
Assist with year-end processing, including W-2s and other required filings
3+ years of hands-on payroll administration experience
Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll laws and regulations
Experience with major payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, Workday, or UKG)
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
