Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite)
Contract: 6-Month Contract
Compensation: $30–$36/hour (DOE)

Overview:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator for a 6-month onsite contract based in Seattle, WA. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing for a multi-state workforce. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and experienced with end-to-end payroll administration in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process biweekly and/or semi-monthly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees

• Review and validate timecards, deductions, bonuses, and commissions for accuracy

• Maintain employee payroll records, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations

• Coordinate with HR and Finance teams on new hires, terminations, and payroll adjustments

• Reconcile payroll data and prepare reports for accounting and management

• Ensure proper taxation and compliance with federal, state, and local laws

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and payroll-related issues

• Assist with year-end processing, including W-2s and other required filings

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll administration experience

• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll laws and regulations

• Experience with major payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, Workday, or UKG)

• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools

• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
