Job Description Volo Boston Marketing Team members are responsible for understanding and representing Volo brand standards in a friendly, and outgoing social sales environment. This is a part-time role great for anyone who likes supporting a fast-paced, hands-on, energetic team, enjoys sports and events, and is looking for supplemental income. Responsibilities Community Engagement and Outreach Engage with local community members to increase awareness and participation in social sports leagues, events, and activities. Create partnerships with local businesses, schools, or other organizations to expand participation and raise visibility. Event Planning & Coordination Ensure smooth logistics for each event, including venue setup, equipment, registration, and on-site coordination. Help create an engaging atmosphere at events, encouraging interaction, sportsmanship, and a fun experience. Participant Experience Foster a positive, inclusive, and fun environment for participants of all backgrounds and skill levels. Social media & Digital Engagement Assist in getting content for social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok) to promote events, share highlights, and engage with the community. Qualifications Passion for Sports & Community: A love for recreational sports and a desire to build inclusive, fun experiences for people of all backgrounds. Strong Communication Skills: Comfortable engaging with diverse groups, promoting events, and solving problems in a positive and approachable manner. Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage event logistics, and stay organized while coordinating events and activities. Team-Oriented: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers, and participants. Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings and weekends to support marketing events. Must have reliable transportation to and from events. Strong attention to detail. Possess a positive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearly. High School Diploma / GED Equivalency. Working Conditions Hours: Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules. Location: On-site at local sports facilities, fields, or community centers for in-person events. Some remote tasks (e.g., social media management, outreach) can be done virtually. Travel: Occasional travel to different venues or events within the community will be required.
