Hot Runner Service Technician

Field-Based (Regional Travel Required)

Are you a hands-on problem solver with experience in injection molding and a knack for troubleshooting hot runner systems? If you're looking to grow your technical skills and be part of a dynamic service team, this could be a great next step.

We’re looking for a Hot Runner Service Technician to support customers on-site across a regional territory. This is a home-based role that combines field service, technical troubleshooting, and customer support. When not traveling, you’ll collaborate with internal support teams and assist with customer inquiries remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repair, assembly, and troubleshooting of hot runner systems and controllers at customer facilities
• Work closely with internal support teams to communicate findings and assist with issue resolution
• Analyze molding process parameters and provide recommendations to improve part quality and performance
• Complete detailed service reports documenting work performed and outcomes
• Provide remote support when not on-site

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly and troubleshooting
• 5 or more years of experience in injection molding, maintenance, or as a process technician
• Experience with hot runners and a strong mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency with measurement tools such as multimeters, micrometers, and bore gauges
• Basic understanding of mold design and injection molding process parameters
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg and stand for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned region

Preferred but Not Required

• Technical diploma or degree in plastics or a related field
• Prior experience in a field service or customer support role
