Quality Assurance/Hot Checker Needed!
$19-$20 per hour DOE
Shift: 2nd 2:00pm to 10:30pm
This position executes inspection plans during the manufacturing process to ensure forgings are being produced per manufacturing plans and meet required specifications. This position reports to the Quality Assurance manager. When on the shop floor this position will also receive workload priority and safety instructions from the Forge Supervisor and or Forge Leadman.
Required Qualifications:
Must pass E-Verify
Have a Clean Background
1-3 years of manufacturing experience
Experience interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
Able to perform inspections involving basic calculation using handheld measuring tools. Knowledgeable in the use of calipers, height gage, tape and micrometer. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
Basic computer skills are necessary to complete computerized documentation.
Strong analytical skills and practical problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and closely follow directions.
Available to work weekends and overtime as may be required.
Capable of stand for extended periods of time.
Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling weights up to 50lbs for short periods of time.
PPE required steel toes
