Job Description

Requirements:

• Must have 5 or more years of experience in GIS technology and spatial data management.
• Proficiency in Azure-based GIS systems.
• Experience with CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) and GIS integration for public safety.
• Experience in building GIS systems from scratch.
• Experience with street centerlines, points of interest, municipal zoning, and response area boundaries.
• Experience working with police department data and systems.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain a GIS system from the ground up for public safety applications.
• Provide GIS support for CAD systems to track vehicle and caller locations in real-time.
• Integrate GIS data (e.g., street centerlines, response boundaries) into the police department s operational systems.
• Collaborate with city teams to integrate GIS with ERP systems for water infrastructure management.
• Ensure accurate GIS data and system maintenance post-implementation.
• Support Motorola system integration and provide expertise on GIS-related functionality.
• Develop and maintain a seamless GIS infrastructure for operational and emergency response needs.
