Job Description

Our client, a leader in the HVAC industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate /Forklift Operator/ Counter Helper to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate /Forklift Operator/ Counter Helper, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting customer service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, strong forklift experience and a commitment to safety, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator/ Counter Helper

Location: Elmsford, NY

Pay Range: $20 per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm (1 hr. Lunch)
* Busy times may be required to work Saturdays 8am-12pm, so OT

What's the Job?

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases.
• Conduct data entry and retrieval on the computer system, including entering customer orders and inventory information.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products to meet customer needs and promote sales through effective communication.
• Assist in maintaining the appearance of the branch and ensure a safe working environment.
• Accurately fill customer orders and perform loading and unloading of trucks as needed.

What's Needed?

• Must have sit-down forklift experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
• Strong communication skills to assist customers and resolve issues effectively.
• Commitment to following safety rules and procedures.
• Willingness to learn and stay updated on product knowledge.
