Job Description

Our client, a leading player in the logistics industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse team supporting efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to adapt to changing environments, which will align successfully with the organization's goals. This is a 6-month assignment.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Pay Range: $19 - $19.50 per hour

Shift: Monday - Thursday 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM, Friday 7:45 AM - 3:15 PM

What's the Job?

• Prepare shipping and receiving orders under limited supervision.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift or hand truck as required.
• Package small items for UPS and/or Postal Service shipments.
• Maintain accurate packing slips and track shipments ready for dispatch.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently while securing materials for shipping.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED. 
• 2+ years of warehouse experience 
• Valid forklift operator license required.
• OSHA certificate
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and safety instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
