Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Part-Time Firearms Instructor with a strong background in defensive tactics to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for instructing civilians in firearms safety, marksmanship, and defensive shooting techniques in a professional and engaging manner. This role requires expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt training methods to meet the needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct firearms training courses for civilians, focusing on safety, accuracy, and defensive shooting tactics.

  • Provide hands-on instruction in a classroom, training facility, and live-fire range setting.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and range regulations.

  • Adapt training programs to fit different skill levels and learning styles.

  • Evaluate students progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.

  • Maintain a professional and safe training environment.

  • Stay current on best practices, laws, and regulations related to firearms training.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in firearms instruction and defensive tactics.

  • Prior experience training civilians is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of firearms safety, marksmanship, and defensive shooting.

  • Certified Firearms Instructor credentials (e.g., NRA, USCCA, or equivalent) preferred.

  • Background in law enforcement, military, or private security is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
