We are seeking a Drone Pilot with Engineering/QA Experience to operate our UAVs and ensure the highest standards of performance and reliability. Who You Are: You are a skilled Drone Pilot with a strong engineering background and experience in quality assurance. Your technical knowledge enhances your ability to operate UAVs effectively while assessing their performance and reliability. You thrive in dynamic environments and possess a keen eye for detail, enabling you to identify and troubleshoot issues during flight operations. With a passion for technology and a commitment to safety, you play a vital role in the successful deployment of our drone solutions. How You'll Make an Impact: Operate and pilot autonomous drone systems for various applications, including testing, inspections, and surveillance. Collaborate with engineering teams to validate the performance and functionality of UAV systems during flight operations. Conduct pre-flight checks, ensuring all systems are operational and compliant with safety protocols. Gather data and provide feedback on drone performance, identifying areas for improvement and reporting any issues to the engineering team. Assist in the development and execution of test plans and procedures for new products and features. Document flight operations, results, and observations to support quality assurance and regulatory compliance. Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices related to drone operations and safety. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience. FAA Remote Pilot Certificate is required. 2+ years of experience piloting UAVs, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting. Strong understanding of UAV systems, flight operations, and safety protocols. Experience in quality assurance or testing processes, with a focus on performance evaluation. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
