Director of Real Estate & Construction – Luxury Mountain West

A prominent private family with a global real estate portfolio is seeking a Director of Real Estate & Construction to oversee both residential and commercial holdings —including landmark mountain properties and significant development projects.

This senior leadership role, based in the Mountain West (Wyoming and Montana) , requires a hands-on executive who combines construction expertise, financial discipline, and refined service standards. The ideal candidate understands high-altitude living and can deliver excellence across architecture, design, property operations, and discreet collaboration with household and private service teams to ensure overall alignment and quality.

Key Focus Areas

  • Lead and manage luxury residential and commercial construction projects
  • Oversee property operations, facilities, and vendor performance
  • Build and guide on-site and remote management teams
  • Direct budgeting, capital planning, and financial reporting
  • Collaborate closely with household and private service staff to ensure seamless integration of property and lifestyle standards
  • Represent ownership in all design, construction, and real estate dealings

Ideal Background

  • 10–15+ years in luxury real estate, construction management, or family office environments
  • Deep experience with both residential estates and commercial projects
  • Skilled negotiator with proven vendor and budget management expertise
  • Familiar with the challenges and beauty of mountain living
  • Discreet, steady, and solutions-oriented

Compensation: $350,000+ range with relocation and comprehensive benefits.

If you’re a results-driven executive passionate about design, construction, and mountain living, we’d love to hear from you.
