Overview
DIRECTOR OF GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN
Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a Director of Global Supply Chain. This individual will serve as an integral member and leader of a small Supply Chain team that will support multiple Resonant Sciences locations. This individual will work in our Beavercreek, OH office full-time, Monday – Friday (1st Shift). Travel requirements will be less than 5% per year.
Responsibilities
The Director of Global Supply Chain leads all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement through customer delivery
Responsibilities include supplier selection, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, risk management, quoting, purchasing, receiving, government property and inventory control
The role oversees purchasing and warehouse teams, builds strategic supplier relationships, and drives performance in customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, cost efficiency, quality, risk reduction, and sustainability
Purchasing, material flow management, receiving, transportation, and inventory control
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction
Align supply chain operations with overall business objectives
Oversee supplier evaluation and selection by assessing potential global suppliers based on their financial health, past performance (on-time delivery, quality) and process conformance. Supplier evaluation may include limited travel for on-site visits.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and pricing and invoice payment
Manage supplier relationships, fostering strong partnerships
Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment
Desirable Qualifications
Strategic sourcing
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
Min 10 years of experience in supply chain leadership with a proven track record of success leading supply chain and operations functions
Familiarity with industry standard supply chain tools and processes
