Job Details We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Design Engineer to join our dynamic team! This is an exceptional opportunity to be a part of a vibrant and innovative firm, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions. You will be working on a diverse range of projects, including the design and development of infrastructure for large scale commercial and public works projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals and contribute to the growth and success of our company.
Responsibilities:
1. Utilize your expertise in Civil Engineering to design and develop innovative solutions for various site development projects.
2. Prepare and revise drawings and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
3. Perform detailed site design and grading, utility design, storm water management design, and erosion and sediment control design.
4. Coordinate with project teams including architects, landscape architects, project managers, and other engineers to ensure project success.
5. Analyze reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographic and geologic data to plan and design projects.
6. Communicate effectively with clients, government officials, contractors, and team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. 0-10 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a focus on land development.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
4. Proven experience in site design, grading, utility design, storm water management design, and erosion and sediment control design.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work in a team and independently when required.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not required.
