About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer to join their multi-specialty physician group. The CMO will be responsible for developing and executing the organization's clinical strategy, ensuring it aligns with the mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This includes leading a culture of clinical excellence, quality improvement, and patient safety, as well as overseeing compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. The successful candidate will collaborate with the executive leadership team to integrate clinical priorities with organizational goals, particularly in the area of value-based care initiatives. Additionally, the CMO will represent the medical group in industry forums, contribute to strategic partnerships, and drive innovation in the healthcare landscape. Applicants must have an MD or DO from an accredited institution, with board certification in a clinical specialty, and an active, unrestricted medical license in the United States. A minimum of 10 years of clinical experience, including at least 5 years in medical leadership or executive roles within a multispecialty or large group practice, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading quality improvement, population health, or value-based care initiatives, and a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is business acumen and experience in strategic planning and performance metrics in a healthcare setting. A Master's degree in a related field and experience with EHRs, clinical analytics, and digital health innovation are preferred.
