About the Job

This is not a traditional driving job . While a CDL and hazmat is required, 90–95% of your work is outside of the truck , performing hands-on tasks like fueling locomotives and unloading tank cars . Driving is a small portion of your job—most of your time is spent doing the work that keeps trains moving.

Velocity Rail Solutions has provided locomotive fueling and tank car unloading services since 1996 under long-term contracts with Class I Railroads. We offer consistent work, guaranteed hours, and job stability year-round .

Position Details:

• Location: Elko, NV
• Equipment: Automatic Tractor Tanker
• Various schedules available – must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements:

• Must have a CDL Class A with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements
• Nights/weekends/holidays availability

Responsibilities:

• Fuel locomotives safely during your shift
