Gas Engine - Cam Polisher

Job Overview: polish camshafts using a polish lathe. This is a self-directed position requiring the person to read and understand micrometers to accurately machine the surfaces. Requires positioning camshaft from conveyor line, processing through machine, and returning down conveyor. Knowing, understanding, and performing machine set-up and preventive maintenance is required.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
• Overtime available

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as micrometers.
• Standing: continuously
• Walking: occasionally
• Sitting: NA
• Stooping (forward leaning): frequently
• Reaching/Working Overhead: NA

Salary and Benefits:

• Starting rate $20.00 + based on experience.
