Our college internship program spans various dealership locations. Depending on the location's needs and housing availability, we may assist you in finding temporary housing!

WHAT AWAITS YOU:

As an Agriculture Student Intern, you'll rotate through key departments, gaining a holistic view of our operations!

Sales Department:

• Analyze used equipment, establish book values, and complete the appraisal process.
• Engage in video marketing projects and load multimedia into MachineFinder.
• Initiate sales leads, complete sales processes, and observe customer interactions and appraisals.

Integrated Solutions Group:

• Understand John Deere Precision Agriculture products and our services.
• Explore digital product offerings for agronomic and equipment data collection and analysis.
• Gain knowledge about John Deere's telemetry solutions and remote support tools.

Parts Department:

• Learn to sell parts using Parts Expert and JD Parts.
• Assist with inventory management, promotional product displays, and physical parts inventory.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the parts department.

Service Department:

• Assist service technicians with work orders and machine assembly.
• Complete pre-delivery paperwork and priority service inspections.
• Understand the sales service request process and the operation of the service department.

At the conclusion of your internship, you'll present a comprehensive report to our senior management team. This is your chance to showcase your contributions, highlight completed projects, and offer suggestions to enhance the program for future Agriculture Student Interns!

WHAT WE NEED:

• Current college student in the process of obtaining an associate or bachelor's degree
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Agricultural knowledge or experience is preferred but not required for this internship - we will teach you everything there is to know!
