Accounting Director

RADAR Nonprofit Solutions

The primary responsibilities for this position are as follows:

• Act as primary RADAR liaison with client representatives
• Supervise team comprised of Accounting Manager and Accounting Associates
• Manage communication between client and RADAR
• Establish appropriate controls within teams
• Work with the leadership team to make sure that overall finance operations are running smoothly
• Provide guidance and oversight on client budgets and forecasts
• Attend client board and committee meetings as needed
• Keep client calendars up to date

Other duties

• Special projects as assigned
• Assists other teams as needed

Skills and Education:

• CPA highly preferred
• Experience with nonprofit accounting highly preferred
• Ability and willingness to learn new systems and skills
• Ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple priorities
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Adept at problem-solving and critical thinking
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
• Computer literacy in Office Windows environment including proficiency with Excel
