Job Summary:
Animax Designs creates extraordinary three-dimensional characters for the themed entertainment, location-based entertainment, commercial, film, and television industries. We are currently seeking interns for our Summer 2024 Internship program!
The 3D Print Intern is a paid internship during Summer 2024. This individual will assist with generating electrical drawings, analyze schematics, produce associated documentation, and develop programming to operate animated characters.
Essential Job Responsibilities: - Program/operate 3D Systems SLA and SLS systems, Stratasys FDM systems, HP MJF systems, and FormLabs SLA and SLS systems
- Operate, control, and optimize multiple Additive Manufacturing processes from CAD file to finished part
- Support, Orient, Print, Clean, Cure and Inspect 3D printed objects following internal processes and procedures
- Maintain records and report progress daily on production of 3D parts
- Help align resources, including other printing individuals, to accomplish tasks and orders

Qualifications - Must be currently enrolled in college/university or a recent 2023 college graduate
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in the USA legally
- Strong computer skills including knowledge and use of all Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Ability to work within a team environment
Preferred Skills - Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of fabrication and some experience with power tools
- Basic understanding of Solidworks, Rhino
- Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.
